Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki Quote on Withstanding Pressure
“You have to withstand pressure, if you can’t handle pressure you can’t be a great or successful entrepreneur” — Donald Trump
One of my investor friends Jack H. out of North Carolina sent me this and I though I would share.
I’ve been asked countless times if this real estate recession has been a “walk in the park” for my partner Mike and I and the answer is NO! Everyone’s suffered that’s been involved in real estate weather you own a primary residence or a huge investment company like Donald Trump and Robert Kiyosaki. We own a lot of properties including multi million dollar land projects. And right now there’s no one buying land. So what do we do? Whine, cry and complain about it…..NO, we dive in and focus on what we can control like maintaining an excellent relationship with our lenders. I’ve watch so many of my piers crumble under the pressure of debt. The question is “how do we handle the pressure?” The answer will be different for every individual, but I know for Mike and I there are 4 techniques we use to withstand pressure.
1. Focus on what you can control. There’s no reason to waste precious energy on things you can’t control.
2. In your mind don’t project into the future the worst case scenario and then worry about it. We all do this and it’s so stupid. Try projecting into the future the end result of what you want and focus on that. Make a mental shift and you’ll feel and attract way better things.
3. Keep moving forward, keep pressing on and Never Quit!!!. I know you’ve heard this before, but what does this really mean? It means get mad, get determined, get razor focused and blow through the obstacles and the solution will reveal itself.
4. Read inspirational success stories of people you admire, you’ll realize that you’re not the only one going through hell right now and there is a light at the end of the tunnel.
